The X Centro Mk II is designed to deliver a coherent and stable soundstage, maintaining tonal balance and precise imaging across a wide listening area. Its form and acoustic behaviour are carefully aligned to support both musical realism and cinematic impact.
Cabinet Technology
The cabinet of the X Centro Mk II is manufactured from Estelon’s proprietary marble-based composite material using advanced moulding technology.
Its curved structure eliminates parallel walls, reducing internal reflections and standing waves.
Internal bracing and acoustically optimised chambers provide rigidity and resonance control, allowing the drivers to operate without unwanted vibration or coloration.
This construction ensures clean transients, accurate dynamics, and long-term structural stability.
Driver System
The X Centro Mk II features a precisely matched driver system developed in cooperation with Accuton:
- 2 × 173 mm ceramic membrane mid-woofers – delivering articulate midrange, controlled bass, and natural tonal balance
- 25 mm CELL ceramic inverted-dome tweeter – providing clarity, smooth high frequencies, and accurate detail reproduction
This combination offers a wide frequency range with excellent resolution, preserving musical nuance and emotional expression.
Driver Positioning and Dispersion Control
The drivers are positioned to ensure coherent sound radiation and stable stereo imaging.
The cabinet’s curved front surface reduces diffraction and supports even dispersion throughout the listening space.
