The XC Diamond Mk II is engineered to deliver a balanced, coherent soundstage that remains stable across a wide listening area.
By combining carefully controlled dispersion with optimised cabinet geometry, the speaker creates a natural and emotionally rich listening experience, whether used in a dedicated stereo system or as part of a high-performance multi-channel setup.
Cabinet Technology
The XC Diamond Mk II cabinet is crafted from Estelon’s proprietary marble-based composite material using advanced moulding technology.
Its curved form eliminates parallel walls, significantly reducing internal reflections and standing waves.
Internally, acoustically optimised chambers and structural bracing provide a rigid, resonance-controlled environment for the drivers.
This construction supports accurate transient response, tonal neutrality, and long-term structural stability.
Driver System
The XC Diamond Mk II features a high-precision driver system developed in collaboration with Accuton:
- 2 × 173 mm ceramic membrane mid-woofers – delivering detailed midrange, controlled bass, and excellent tonal balance
- 25 mm diamond inverted-dome tweeter – extending high-frequency response to 60 kHz for exceptional resolution and spatial precision
The diamond tweeter enhances transient speed and micro-detail, contributing to a wide, three-dimensional soundstage with natural depth and realism.
Driver Positioning and Dispersion Control
The drivers are positioned to ensure coherent sound radiation and accurate stereo imaging.
The cabinet’s softly curved front surface reduces diffraction and supports even dispersion across the listening area.
The result is a stable, immersive soundstage with consistent tonal balance and precise localisation of instruments and voices.
Crossover Design
The XC Diamond Mk II employs a carefully engineered crossover network designed to preserve signal integrity and maintain phase coherence between drivers.
