Design Philosophy
At Estelon, we design loudspeakers that work with the room, not against it. Every element in a space influences the listening experience.
The AURELIA Centre’s sealed box concept makes it compact and placement-friendly while ensuring nimble, accurate bass and effortless integration into any home cinema system.
Cabinet Technology
The AURELIA Centre cabinet is made from thermoformed mineral-filled composite using vacuum moulding technology.
Its curved surfaces and non-parallel walls suppress internal standing waves, while advanced bracing and dampening ensure a rigid, non-resonant structure.
Weighing just 10 kg, the cabinet remains structurally stable and acoustically inert, allowing the drivers to perform with clarity and precision.
Inside, carefully placed natural and synthetic dampening materials ensure tonal balance and transparency.
Driver Configuration
and Placement
The AURELIA Centre features:
- 2 x 132 mm Egyptian Papyrus fibre mid-range drivers (SB Acoustics Satori)
- 25 mm textile dome tweeter (Scan-Speak Illuminator)
The mid-range drivers deliver clear, dynamic sound, while the tweeter, housed in a custom elliptical waveguide, ensures lifelike, smooth high frequencies with wide, controlled dispersion.
Each driver operates in its own optimised chamber, suppressing resonance and supporting clean, uncoloured sound output.
Crossover Design
The crossover uses premium air-core coils, Auricap capacitors, and Mundorf bifilar resistors.
Hand-assembled with point-to-point wiring and Kubala-Sosna internal cabling, the network features second-order slopes with a crossover point at 2.2 kHz.
Its layout ensures short signal paths, preserving micro-detail and reducing loss. Every crossover is tested both electrically and through critical listening.
