The opening of the exhibition “Novelty” was on the 16 of September which was also the opening event for the European Innovation Festival IF… and the Design Night. The Estonian design exhibition “Novelty” concentrates on the aspect of novelty in design. The exhibits displayed are from XX and XXI centuries and they have been chosen based on the criteria of originality in the primary features of design: function, construction, technology, material, form, tradition and meaning.
