On 26 November the Arvo Pärt Centre hosted Music Meets Film 2019, an annual side event of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.

It featured the award-winning British composer Richard Harvey, one of the world’s leading forensic musicologists, Peter Oxendale, and composers Michael J McEvoy, Jussi Jaakonaho, Mihkel Zilmer and Tom Player in talks and masterclass sessions dedicated to film scoring. The initiative brought together composers and directors; from music and sound creatives through to producers, agents and the wider music and film industry. The day was full of interesting discussions and it ended with the screening of a fascinating and informative movie titled “Making Waves: The Art of Cinematic Sound” by director Midge Costin.

Estelon Extreme loudspeakers together with Vitus Audio electronics delivered the sound the entire day.

“The event was a complete success and I am happy that the Estelon Extreme loudspeakers were able to fill the concert hall with an accurate sound image. The Arvo Pärt Centre team were very helpful with organising everything and I am happy that our cooperation with the Centre is working excellently,” said Mr Alfred Vassilov, Estelon Founder and Chief Designer.
